Erst einmal vielen Dank Norbert V. für die Einschätzung!
Es gibt zwei weitere Meinungen - zunächst bin ich in der glücklichen Lage, dass ein echter Kenner aus Dänemark meine Fotos angeschaut hat und folgendes zu sagen hat:
"In 1885, Åbenrå (as we spell the name of that town in Danish)..was part of Germany (since we lost Schleswig Holsten in 1865)...so that explains the german spelling.
I have no record of any professional violinmaker in Aabenraa from that time (or any maker at all..!) The only Poulsen I have is a maker and repairer, Hans Poulsen, but he was already working in Copenhagen a few years before 1885...
There were a lot of carpenters, school teachers etc at that time all over the country who did some repairwork on the side - and in those days it was common to insert a label even if it was just a small repair since it was a free source of advertizing your name around in the musical circles."
Dann gab es eine unverbindliche Schätzung von dritter Stelle (auch via Fotos):
This violin appears to be German trade work from the late 19th Century. Such violins typically make in the range of £180 to £350 at auction.
Der nächste Schritt wäre dann wohl der Gang zum Geigenbauer
Wie die Geschichte dieses Zufallsfundes weiterging folgt dann bei Zeiten an dieser Stelle!
